FAQ's

All orders under 2kg are dispatched Tracked 48 via Royal Mail, who state the aim is to deliver these parcels within 2 days, with the small minority taking 3 days. There are certain postcodes that the royal mail state will take longer.

All orders over 2kg are dispatched via APC distribution who aim to deliver your parcel the next working day.

Please can we ask that you allow a minimum of 5 business days for an order being delivered within the UK before you contact us regarding your parcel.

We aim to dispatch all orders placed Monday – Friday before 1pm that same day, any order placed after that time will be dispatched the following working day. Any orders placed over the weekend and bank holidays will not be dispatched until the next working day.

All orders are able to be collected from our Blackfriars Street Roastery, we ask that for any orders placed over the weekend you wait until 12pm on the Monday before arriving to collect your order.

For any orders placed Monday – Friday within our opening hours (9am – 2pm), we ask that you wait an hour before arriving to collect your order. This allows to prepare your order.

The following renewals of coffee/tea subscriptions will be dispatched once payment has been received.

Sometimes when gift vouchers are sold in our shops during busy periods the code is not uploaded onto the website, please contact us and we will resolve this for you.

If you are experiencing problems when trying to apply a promotion code on the check out page please contact us via our Contact Form prior to placing your order and we will assist you as quickly as possible.

We recommend that coffee and tea is kept in a sealed, airtight container in a dark cupboard, not in the fridge. Coffee beans can be stored in the freezer and this allows you to have freshly ground coffee as you require.

As long you have followed the storage guidelines as above, all our coffees have a best before of six months.

Beans - grind on demand at home.

Coarse Ground - coarse grind is best for cafetieres and French press plungers.

Medium Ground - medium grind is best for pour overs and filter drippers.

Fine Ground (Espresso) - fine grind is best for espresso machines, stovetops and Aeropress.
